Responsibilities:

The Splunk Developer is responsible for the development and implementation of the Splunk based feature requests and addressing any urgent incidents/bugs that impact the environment.

Key Responsibilities: Develop/Customize Splunk Apps and Dashboards, Expertise in Splunk SPL, Integration with external systems, Build advanced visualizations, data models, CIM Compliance, Search Optimization, Summary Indexes, Etc.,

Required skills:

Scripting, Splunk SPL, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, etc.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

• Bachelors and minimum 6 years of Splunk related experience,
• Splunk Certified Developer
• Splunk Core Certified Consultant preferred
• Experience designing, building, maintaining, large Splunk infrastructures
• Expert Splunk application and dashboard developer using complex data searches.
• Experience optimizing applications to reduce impact on resources.
• Experience with Splunk administration, configuration, tuning large environments.
• Experience with data onboarding, Splunk TAs
• Experience managing complex data, specifically managing role-based access control, configuring roles, and designing data onboarding to support current and future roles.
• Experience with Regex and custom scripting
• Expertise in Splunk SPL
• Experience with Splunk Premium Apps
• Experience with and very comfortable working in an agile environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work efficiently and effectively in both remote and in person interactions
• Strong interpersonal skills to advise on best practices while balancing the customer expectation on mission outcomes.

Desired skills and knowledge:

• Experience with Splunk Premium products and other add-ons
