Job Description – Lead-Analytics

Responsibilities

• Design and development of Analytics solutions with technologies ranging from Power BI,

Tableau, Microstrategy, etc.

• Analyze the source system and design solutions accordingly
• Work with client teams and gather & understand the requirements
• Develop reusable, well structured and efficient code/jobs/reports based on the sources and

requirements

• Work with the team and own the end to end responsibility of the project
• Conduct and participate in team meetings and agile ceremonies
• Follow the industry best practices in developing and unit testing the code built
• Review the code built by team members ensure better quality of results
• Actively analyze and resolve application based and technical queries
• Conduct performance testing to ensure scalability
• Support continuous improvement by identifying alternatives and technologies and

presenting these for architectural review

• Participate in project planning / Scrum meetings
• Follow standard coding practices like Source control, check-in, and check-out code
• Prepare documentation, working with the team, as needed on the status, progress and

maintenance of applications

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other related fields
• Fluent in writing SQL (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL or any other RDBMS)
• Strong on Data modeling, and dimensional modeling
• 7 years of relevant experience in any of Power BI, Tableau, Microstrategy or any other BI

tool

• Certifications would be a plus
• Tableau would be preferred
• Good communication skills
• R or Python would be a plus
• High achiever in the past
